MEET THE BOWLING PROS!

Palm Lake Resort Toowoomba Pinnacle staff and residents are eagerly awaiting the grand opening of the new eight-rink undercover lawn bowls green and clubhouse on April 20. It’s arguably the most picturesque clubhouse location of all Palm Lake Group resorts across the country with its impressive views over the stunning northern valley.

Palm Lake Resort national sales manager Marlene Cumming says a highlight of the opening event will be the guest appearance of international lawn bowls champions Julie Keegan and Ryan Bester (pictured left). Julie started playing lawn bowls in 2000 and has won numerous club, district and state titles. She is a current Queensland state representative but may be better known for representing Australia from 2006-2011 (playing 121 games for this country) as well as being 2006 Australian Open Singles Champion, 2007 World Team Cup Winner, 2008 Gold Medallist World Champion Fours, 2008 Silver
Medallist World Champion Triples, 2008 Gold Medallist World Team Ladies and 2010 Silver Medallist Commonwealth Games Triples.
