This property has been inspired by the peaceful and picturesque vision of artist Claude Monet’s gardens and is located in an equally idyllic setting in the township of Tea Gardens, two hours north of Sydney on the north shore of Port Stephens.
While the homes and facilities are all of the highest standard, as you’d expect from the Palm Lake Group, the Tea Gardens area itself offers an amazing natural environment with wildlife filled waterways and that generally relaxed beachside holiday vibe.
Residents and their visiting guests are just minutes from the glorious Myall River, picnic areas and pristine beaches.
Just across the Singing Bridge and through adjacent Hawks Nest, Bennetts Beach is very close to Tea Gardens. This surf beach is patrolled during the school holidays and summer weekends. For calmer water, especially great for visiting families with younger swimmers, Jimmys Beach is the perfect choice. From nearby South Bennetts Beach you’ll find Yacaaba Headland walk which is regarded as one of Port Stephens’ finest walks. A small ferry operates from Tea Gardens over to Nelson Bay where dolphin and whale watching cruises depart, in season.
Alfresco cafes, restaurants, Myall Lakes National Park (and all the fishing and watersports that go with it) help make Tea Gardens the sought after location that it is. And don’t forget to sample some local seafood – the freshest and cheapest around!
The resort has been master planned to give each home close proximity to one of our two country clubs, which will form the hubs of activity in the community.
Stage One of Palm Lake Resort Tea Gardens features an impressive country club overlooking a glorious lake, tennis court and pavilion. Some 150 homes are already built, with potential for more than 120 further homes.
Palm Lake Resort Tea Gardens has a brand new, world class Country Club which offers on site chef-prepared meals for residents from an exceptional commercial kitchen.
Our resort is one of the first of its kind in Australia that can boast its very own private bowling alley. Rollers Bowling Alley is the perfect place to catch up with friends, have a laugh and a few drinks whilst enjoying some Palm Lake Resort rivalry.
The country club also includes an undercover lawn bowls, a heated indoor swimming pool and spa, an outdoor swimming pool, workshop, cinema, gym, hair and beauty salon, caravan and boat storage, a shuttle bus for local trips and, most importantly, that authentic community spirit that long time Palm Lake Resort residents rave about.
